Cat is a landscape artist based in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. She takes her inspiration from woodlands across the UK, exploring the stories that the woods stimulate.
Her woodland scenes are painted in distinctive broken brushmarks, in this way she can interpret light and the seasons to create paintings that you feel you can step into. The experience of the painting changes as you move closer to the surface of the canvas and back out again, akin to zooming into a pixelated image.
Cat has was featured on last year’s Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2024 as a heat contestant. Cat has gone on to film a Masterclass episode for Sky Art's new artist series, showing Feb/March this year.
She has also had work selected the British Art Prize Exhibition in 2024, and was selected twice for The Society of Botanical Artists annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries.
Cat exhibits regularly at Affordable Art Fairs in Hampstead and Battersea.
Cat's work and teaching has been featured in various publications such including Leisure Painter, New Artist and Artist & Illustrator, and her paintings can be found on cards published by Museums and Galleries.

Due to an impending studio move, Cat will be including some studio sale pieces as well as work from her own collection. Together with new artwork this will be an exhibition not to miss!
Final places on Weekend Courses

Cat's courses are held in a countryside studio in South Oxfordshire. All of your materials are included, you work at an easel with guided and supportive tuition.
